We have an exciting new opportunity for a Solutions Design Manager to join our solutions team, within our Retail & Consumer Division. 
Reporting to the Head of Warehouse Solution Design, you will provide specialised analysis, warehouse design and commercial due diligence to support the development of distribution and logistics solutions for new customers and existing operations.
In this role you will: Lead small to large intralogistics warehouse design projects across a diverse range of industries for new and existing customers.
Support the Implementation team, with the implementation of projects for new & existing customers and or changes to operations.
Provide analytical support for intralogistics design projects across a diverse range of industries, including data analysis/reporting, insights, process flow design, cost modelling, & presentations
Provide peer review input to maintain the quality of outputs from the Supply Chain Solutions team
Collaborate across functions and teams within Toll to improve the way we work across functions
Proactively develop and improve standard outputs from the team, including identification of new technologies, and providing improvement suggestions both to our ways of working and the tools that we use
Support business development and account management teams with pre-sales planning and win strategies to support successful bids
To be successful you will have: Over 7 years working experience in related industry, with at least 5 years in a logistics or supply chain function.
Solid understanding of Intralogistics concepts, functions and role within the broader supply chain
Excellent knowledge of supply chain applications and operational knowledge of warehouse layouts and design
Commercially and financially astute (including knowledge in finance & P/L principles)
Time critical approach to customer requests and tenders
Knowledge of statistical methodologies
Critical thinking ability, that enables continuous improvement opportunities to be identified and implemented with the support of the broader team
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Advanced MS PowerPoint, Excel and MS Visio skills, AutoCAD skills are desirable
Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Logistics Management or a related discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
