The Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) is currently seeking applications for a Solutions Architect to join the Enterprise Technology Group.This position is a full-time, ongoing position and can be located in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne or Sydney CBD.Remuneration: The annual salary for the position is EL1 $113,357 - $133,423 p.a. plus a generous employer superannuation contribution of 15.4%.What we offer: Flexible working options, including flexi-time and remote working to support you with your commitments outside of the AAT.Competitive salary including generous superannuation employer contribution of 15.4%.Salary packaging options.Gym membership payment plan.Supportive career development opportunities.Holistic health and wellbeing support including free annual influenza vaccinations and free eye tests.Christmas to New Year office closure with no deduction from your leave balance.Employee Assistance Program for you and your family.Positive and inclusive culture.About the opportunity:Reporting to the Chief Architect, the role of Solutions Architect is critical in ensuring solutions are designed to meet business objectives.The role will focus on driving design decisions for a multi-year program to deliver a new Case Management Solution (CMS) solution for the Tribunal. The AAT has selected a Microsoft D365, Power Platform, Dataverse and Azure Services stack as the core of its new CMS Platform capabilities.Our teams are based in multiple locations, work flexibly with occasional office attendance as required and follow an agile delivery approach.About you:As a leader in the Enterprise Technology Group (ETG) you will contribute to the successful implementation and delivery of ICT strategy and operations to achieve the goals and outcomes of the Tribunal. You will work with a range of multidisciplinary teams to ensure the solution is scalable, secure and resilient.You will have demonstrated experience of working with cross functional teams in leading the development of solution architectures in business, infrastructure or functional areas.To be successful you will have:Demonstrated knowledge of the preparation of technical plans, technical guidance and governance on solution development and integration.Experience and knowledge of developing models and plans to drive the execution of business strategy and delivering improved business performance.Knowledge and expertise in determining requirements and defining effective business processes, through technology, information or data practices.Demonstrated success in designing large or complex systems, undertaking impact analysis, and identifying design options and trade-offs.Experience and knowledge in planning and driving development of organisational systems integration and build capabilities including automation and continuous integration.Demonstrated capability to plan, scope, and undertake requirements definition and prioritisation activities for large, complex initiatives.Experience in analysing and (re)-designing business processes utilising enabling solutions (exploiting technology and automation) to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.Applications close: 11:45pm (AEST, AWST, ACST) Sunday 8th September 2024The key duties of the position include:Leadership and management: Provide solution and architecture leadership, direction, advice, and support to cross functional teams responsible for ICT products and services, especially the CMS program. This includes advice on technology, compliance, control requirements, and promoting the future state architecture. Improve organisational performance and quality by developing the performance of workgroups and capabilities to meet agreed objectives with measurable results.Advice: Provide authoritative and definitive expert strategic advice and guidance on solution design and implementation, identifying risks within existing solutions and architectures. Ensure that solution components align with relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices. Develop, maintain and interpret policies, standards and processes to support fit for purpose provision of technology systems and services. Provide advice on proposals including risk, issues, and implications.Stakeholder management: Plan, estimate, and execute solution, architecture and technical implementation work to targets, including identifying, prioritising, and exploiting opportunities to improve or innovate services. Design new and potentially disruptive approaches to performing business activities through enabling technology. Maintain the security, confidentiality, integrity, availability and accountability of AAT's systems and information assets, ensuring adherence to AAT and Government policies and standards, especially architecture and security. Manage trade-offs and balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements within the broader systems environment.Service Delivery: Engage with developers, program sponsors, business owners, product managers, product owners, technology teams and stakeholders at all levels, both within and external to the AAT, to deliver high quality technology solutions and services which comply with policies and best practice ICT frameworks. Ensure technology solution and architecture risks are identified, documented and mitigated. Maintain and contribute to operational continuity of the AAT's environments and toolchain to ensure systems and services are performing optimally to meet current and planned business needs, as well as aligning to architecture guidelines and guardrails. #J-18808-Ljbffr
