About the role Leadership: The Manager for this role is Lesley French.
Lesley is the Director of our Eastern Region for Solutions and has been leading a growing business for just over 4 years at Insight.
Lesley is a very highly regarded leader with a wealth of experience in Leadership and Sales Management in the Enterprise Software industry.
Her team is focused on delivering & implementing innovative Microsoft Solutions with Practice capabilities including Data & AI, Cloud Apps & Integration, Dynamics 365 & Power Platform, Cloud Platform and Managed Services, Strategy and Design, & PMO, across our Enterprise, Commercial and Public Sector clients.
Lesley is proud of the diverse range of innovative Microsoft engagements the team deliver daily and that we stand by our values as a priority.
As a Solutions Account Manager, you will drive Professional Services Sales and delivery of Insight's Digital Innovation Solutions, focused on Microsoft Technology, to NSW & ACT Education clients such as Universities and TAFE.
We will count on you to leverage your market knowledge and network to enable you to create connections that support business growth and assist clients reach their strategic goals.
Along the way, you will get to: Generate new business via targeted account planning, leveraging marketing collateral, events, internal and partner relationships.
Deliver valuable business outcomes to our clients via consultative selling, with the intent to develop long-term business partnerships.
Work in close alignment with Insight's Partner BDM and vendors Microsoft, GitHub & Databricks to strategise opportunities and plan co-sell activity.
Work closely with the Insight Practice Management/Leaders, Solutions specialists & PMO teams to drive pre-sales activities in Accounts as well as monitoring delivery milestones on projects to ensure engagements are meeting client expectations.

What we're looking for Extensive experience in a senior IT consultative sales role, with both new business development and account management experience Experience selling Professional Services solutions to the Tertiary Education sector or Public Sector in NSW/ACT Evidence of prior success in exceeding sales targets with deal sizes of $500K to $5M within large corporate and enterprise accounts Proven experience building and managing C-level client relationships and providing value added, strategic insight to their business Ability to demonstrate ongoing desire to learn and understand new and emerging technologies Experience selling Microsoft solutions and services is highly regarded What you can expect We're legendary for taking care of you, your family and for helping you engage with your local community.
