We are seeking a full-time Solution Engineer to join our Brisbane team working closely with Defence and support partners.
About the role
Reporting to our Brisbane-based Project Manager, you will be a key player in delivering IT applications/systems and solutions. This is a diverse role where you will participate in the rollout of our software to our customers, develop and maintain technical environments for our software, integrate our product with other defence systems and proactively act on problems before they materialise.
You will work closely and collaboratively with our customers to ensure our products deliver high quality and cutting-edge outcomes to simplify critical decision making.
Key tasks include: Advise customers and support partners on best practice to deploy and use C4I software products to meet their needs. Work closely with the Senior Architect and other engineers to ensure Army's C4I architecture is aligned with the SitaWare product suite. Building and maintaining network and server environments for our software. Supporting the training of administrators and end users. Conducting technical training for customers - both in classroom and workshop environments. Keeping up to date with products to ensure the alignment of customer expectations and product roadmaps, maximising value for both the customers and products. Implementing and supporting solutions at customer sites. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sub-contractors, consultants, and colleagues. Helping to ensure projects are delivered within the agreed scope and on time. Travel domestically to support customer operations and exercises, and to our Headquarters in Aarhus Denmark as part of your onboarding. About you Degree in Computer Science, engineering or other relevant discipline. Masters highly regarded. Want to work in an agile environment (scrum experience is a plus). Experience with some or all of the following:IT infrastructure and Platforms (Windows, Linux, Android based operating systems, Active Directory, Database management systems, XMPP chat). Be familiar with one or more of:NET, Angular, XML. Hardware (infrastructure components such as servers, as well as computing devices). What Systematic offers
