The Solution Engineer role provides the technical expertise and dedicated technical focus required to deliver on Westpac's next generation technology capabilities including data analytics, platform development, specialised application development, systems and processes. This role will operate predominantly in an Agile environment and will be required to support the technology capabilities to effectively deliver value to customers.
What do I need? Strong experience with software development and applications system designProven experience in understanding activities required to solve a problemExperience providing quality review of code and leading quality control initiativesDemonstrated significant experience with Teradata (SQL, Utilities, Architecture)Hands-on experience with Unix ScriptingStrong data background ideally with systems experience working on Data Warehouse and big data platformAnalysis, problem solving, troubleshooting and consultative skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills using an open, clear and engaging mannerExperience working in the banking industry is desirableHow do I apply?
