This newly created role will see you join the Enterprise Systems Integration team (specifically OSS Digital Networks). Your responsibilities will include requirement analysis, translation of requirements to solution design, and governance of development implementation and testing.
Responsibilities: Gather and/or analyze requirements from internal stakeholders or business analysts.Define and design new EMS/NMS based network management solutions providing FCAPS functionality across fixed network domains IP (including Carrier Ethernet, MPLS/IP, ATM), Microwave, Optical Transport (including SDH, DWDM, OTN etc.).Define and design expansion or enhancement of EMS/NMS based network management solutions across fixed network domains.Contribute technical expertise, provide governance, assessment, audits of existing EMS/NMS solutions and architectures as required.Create project and solution proposals for delivery including cost and effort estimation.Liaise with vendors in the network domains of interest to create, design, and deliver optimal EMS/NMS solutions.Collaborate with internal teams including Solution Architects, other Solution Designers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to design, develop, and conclude internal projects.Essential Requirements: Minimum of 5-10 years' experience working in telecommunications.Minimum of 5 years' experience working in OSS Assurance Solution Design including at least 3 years in EMS/NMS solution design.Strong knowledge and experience in OSS, network assurance and management including protocols SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, CDP, NetFlow, streaming telemetry, Netconf, Yang, RESTconf.Strong knowledge and experience in Fixed Network domains: IP (including Carrier Ethernet, MPLS/IP, ATM), Microwave, Optical Transport (including SDH, DWDM, OTN etc.).Paxus values diversity and welcomes applications from Indigenous Australians, people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people living with a disability.
