A contract opportunity for a solution designer in a large telecommunication company across lifecycle management of Fixed Network EMS/NMS solutions, IP, Microwave, and Optical domains. What You Will Be Doing: Analyse requirements from internal stakeholders and business analysts.Design and expand EMS/NMS-based network management solutions for IP, Microwave, and Optical Transport.Provide governance, assessment, and audits of existing solutions and architectures.Liaise with vendors to deliver optimal EMS/NMS solutions.Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and Project Managers on projects.Prepare and review test plans and documentation. Criteria: With 5+ years in OSS Assurance Solution Design and 3+ years in EMS/NMS.Strong knowledge of OSS protocols (SNMP, ICMP, Syslog, etc.) and Fixed Network domains (IP, Microwave, Optical).Experience with private and public cloud technologies, workloads, and migration.Familiarity with SDLC, including Web Services (SOAP, REST), databases, and CI/CD.Proactive problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
Desirable Skills: Programming skills in Python and Java.Familiarity with TMF OSS frameworks, ITIL standards, and open-source OSS solutions.Project Management and Financial Management experience (optional).
