The Role
As a Solution Designer, you will support the solution design process by working closely with other designers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure the development of well-integrated and scalable solutions.
You will have the opportunity to grow your skills in understanding complex systems and influencing solution designs across teams.
This role offers hands-on experience in analyzing business requirements, contributing to solution designs, and working with modern cloud and integration technologies.

Responsibilities: Analyze business requirements for new initiatives and assess the current complex system landscape to identify gaps.Collaborate with other designers, architects, product owners, and service owners to define solution design alternatives for identified gaps and drive decisions towards preferred solutions.Ensure alignment with Bank's target state enterprise architecture and domain target state architecture, proactively addressing and resolving deviations.Maintain end-to-end solution design integrity while influencing other domain designs to optimize overall solutions.Create detailed solution designs and support squads in build execution and the path to production.Provide expert advice to product owners, service owners, and architects on technology applications to enhance business performance.Identify and resolve cross-stream, project, and service team issues that affect solution integrity.Work both independently and collaboratively with various teams.Anticipate and mitigate project risks while adapting to unforeseen challenges.Contribute to the maintenance of a central knowledge repository, including customer master domain knowledge, design models, patterns, guidelines, and project deliverables.Coach and mentor junior solution designers within the team. What You Will Bring: Extensive experience in understanding and analyzing requirements, leading to technology solution design, including creating design artifacts such as design briefs, API specifications, impact assessments, and solution summaries.Proven ability to visualize complex processes and outcomes, conveying intricate ideas clearly and concisely.Significant experience in designing cloud-native solutions (preferably on AWS) aligned with modern architecture principles, ensuring functional fit, scalability, reliability, availability, security, and performance.
AWS and Azure architect certifications are preferred.Comfortable working at both management and squad levels, consulting across domains beyond the customer data platform.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with key project stakeholders, articulating complex technical issues to business stakeholders.Strong full-stack development and delivery experience in one or more major programming languages and frameworks, particularly with a Java-based stack.Delivery experience in Customer Data and Banking solutions, particularly utilizing Java-based technologies.System integration experience in complex technology environments involving APIs (REST and SOAP), batch integration, business process orchestration, and event-driven integration.Highly preferred: Experience and skills in Oracle's online and batch integration technologies (e.g., Oracle Service Bus, Oracle Data Integrator, Fusion Middleware/Application Integration Architecture). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8-10 years of relevant experience in solution design, system integration, or related roles.Relevant certifications in solution architecture, cloud technologies, or specific programming languages/frameworks.
