The successful individual will lead a team of passionate, knowledgeable individuals with a laser focus on delivering high quality pre-sales support and the best solutions for our clients. As part of the wider commercial team, you will be working closely with our new business team and relationship management function where collaboration, accountability, and a can-do attitude are all part of Worldpay culture.What you'll ownThe director of Solution Consultancy ANZ will be part of a regional team of industry focused consultants and manage a team of pre-sales Consultants which will work across our customer and prospect base to leverage the capabilities to deliver transformational business outcomes to customers in Australia and New Zealand.To do this, you are expected to have a deep understanding of the payments processes of large enterprises and be able to position the value of enterprise payments offerings (product and services) to help address those needs. As such this role requires this individual to lead external engagement and work collaboratively and closely with the sales, product, go to market, and services teams to be successful.Your time will be split between building, developing, and leading a high performing team of pre-sales consultants as well as using your experience to also lead on some key initiatives in the business. Whether that is helping to pitch to our Tier 1 customers or being the voice of the customer on a key ANZ product release.You are a skilled, dynamic and determined individual who is process driven with strong attention to detail. You have impressive interpersonal skills that allow you to develop long-lasting relationships with customers and colleagues. You're also comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to adapt and improve our business processes and solutions offered.The successful candidate will effectively influence the strategic investments and roadmap to drive innovation and improve our customer experience with a focus on understanding the industry trends and opportunities. Leverage effective communication and presentation skills to influence prioritization of new developments or enhancements.You will work in close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to improve process, policy, systems, tooling, and knowledge.Your team will play a crucial role in the business development process and will work closely with the sales team in managing new business opportunities.Your team will also collaborate with the relationship management team to understand the requirements for any cross-selling customer opportunity to ensure that support is both effective and timely.Define and maintain quality standards for the team by establishing KPI's.Build networks and relationships with customers, formalizing the relationships to improve market knowledge.Develop market insights, competitive intelligence, and product licensing demographics as key enablers for the business.Other related duties as assigned.Where you'll own itYou'll own it in our APAC hub. We pride ourselves on being an agile and dynamic collective, collaborating with different teams and offices across the globe.What you bringDeep experience and knowledge of enterprise payment solutions, payment schemes requirements and payment ecosystem.Previous pre-sales experience is crucial and extensive business knowledge in the payments space will be a minimum, ideally the candidate would have a mix of direct business exposure within payments and experience either in a consultancy, or technology vendor positioning and selling solutions to enterprise level clients.Proven presales team development and management experience is not mandatory but a clear plan to win will be crucial for the successful candidate.Deep knowledge of best practice in payment processes.Passionate about the ability to deliver technology-based solutions which can drive real business value.Proven track record of establishing senior level business relationships.Ability to identify new market opportunities both directly and in conjunction with a direct sales force and business partners.A true team leader who can lead by example and exercise leadership through credibility and accountability and play a leading role in the development of a significant business in the region and at a global level.
