We are modernising and optimising our end-to-end supply chain technology to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, increase safety, and improve customer and team member satisfaction.We are creating the next generation of our supply chain, and to achieve this, we seeking a Solution Architect to be at the heart of driving our new platform's performance, scalability, and resilience. You will become a Subject Matter Expert for the teams future state technical architecture and provide the technology roadmap for our Engineers.What you'll be doing:Engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand diverse perspectives and design solutions leveraging AWS, Kafka and Microservices, that address the unique needs of the business, as well as identifying opportunities for modernisation.Working with various technology teams across the organisation, particularly the Enterprise Architecture team, fostering effective communication and collaboration to ensure alignment of Supply Chain solutions with broader technological strategies.Collaborating with the Project, Delivery and Iteration Managers and the wider technology group to prioritise and sequence initiatives in trimester / sprint planning, and play a key role in coordinating Agile ceremonies and activities.Leading the charge in technical innovation for our Supply Chain, guiding the team towards technical greatness and designing solutions that not only meet current business requirements but are forward-thinking and adaptable for future needs.Playing a key role in the design of solutions, development and rollout of our RFID technologies.Acting as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical jargon into business-friendly language.To be successful in this role you'll have:Extensive experience in designing and implementing technical solutions, particularly in the context of AWS Cloud deployments and mirco-services solution design. Provide examples of successful outcomes and improvements in efficiency, scalability, and overall performance.Prior Knowledge of end-to-end Supply Chain and a clear understanding of the technological challenges and opportunities in this space.Proven ability to design robust and scalable solutions that go beyond immediate business needs, ensuring adaptability to future requirements and advancements in cloud technology.Showcase architecture that aligns with long-term business goals for sustainable growth and innovation.Strong collaboration skills, demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with diverse technology teams across the organization. Provide examples of successful collaboration in integrating AWS solutions into existing technology ecosystems.Proactive and innovative problem-solving skills, particularly in navigating challenges associated with legacy technology migration.
