We encourage motivated individuals who love what they do, value a service-first mindset, and embrace a challenge to explore a career with Airservices.The Role & The Team:As the Solution Architect, you will be responsible for providing services, which includes determining the external and interface architecture into Airservices, and internal systems/interfaces/integration designs, and to provide a high level logical and physical design for the ATFM connection between Airservices systems and the external operations centre system.This includes:Working across the entire scope of the WSI program, defining and documenting interfaces and architecture between the systems.Create, develop and validate solution architectures, both at the high and detailed levels.Lead Cyber Security for the program and be the liaison for cyber security related topics.Lead the determination, recording and approval of architectural decisions.Assessment, quality assurance and endorsement of the vendor outputs in architectural designs.Identify and coordinate required specialist personnel and stakeholders within Airservices.Ensure alignment of technical delivery and success criteria in alignment with Airservices requirements.Coordinate the project team to enable delivery of the WSI Program activities.Advise the project team, stakeholders and other relevant Airservices stakeholders with technical details/explanations as necessary.Provide specialist advice on their domain.Identify risks and issues facing successful delivery (and propose management/mitigation options as required).Liaise and coordinate work with relevant teams.Minimum Qualifications:Tertiary qualification (i.e. bachelor's degree) in computer science / engineering or Information Technology (essential).Experience in Solution Architecture, Cyber Security (essential).Strong appreciation for integration architecture (essential).Experience in software engineering and design architecture (essential).Previous experience with ATC systems (preferable).Demonstrated ability to communicate the complexities of technical programs (preferable).Security Clearance:To be eligible to apply, you must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent resident as an Airservices Background check is required for this role.Applications close Thursday 21st November 2024 at 5.00 pm AEST.
