This role will have a pivotal part to play in the modernisation of legacy applications and platforms to a cloud-enabled state.
Responsibilities for the role include: Driving the end-to-end analysis and design of high-quality system solutions and the maintenance of application architecture through continuous improvement and life cycle management activities.Working with Product to formulate 3-year roadmaps for each product that will guide investment working towards the target state.Produce and update architectural patterns that will guide engineers and architects.Developing and maintaining architecture assets such as (but not limited to) application inventories, system roadmaps, digital strategies.Support pre-sales activities, working with sales and prospective customers about potential solutions we can provide.Keeping abreast of emerging technologies, and working with the product teams how they could be leveraged in the product roadmap.About YouYou will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:
Broad and in-depth knowledge of real-time interfaces gained within a high-volume environment.Experience playing a significant role in creating technology patterns – e.g., blueprints.Experience playing a significant role in creating product and domain roadmaps as well as application and business capability models.Experience of modernisation and re-platforming of legacy applications and technology to a more contemporary state.Experience with cloud providers, preferably Azure.Experience delivering across the full SDLC and IT project management methodologies.Proven experience in delivering and managing of architecture artefacts and outcomes to time and budget.High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.Results-focused, hands-on and a high level of attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience in the Banking and Finance domain.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.Not a necessity, but additional experience in the following areas will also be highly regarded:
Experience within Enterprise/Solution Architecture, application design, and/or consulting with TOGAF Certification or equivalent qualifications.Card issuing platforms.Experience working in large complex environments (i.e. financial services).Experience with architectural tooling such as LeanIX, Sparx etc.Sounds like you?Use the 'Apply Now' button below to submit your Cover Letter and Resume, demonstrating your relevant experience for the role.
