This role will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative technology solutions for a telecom and energy company, ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and technical landscape.This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce, AWS, and digital platforms to architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that enhance customer experiences and optimize operational efficiency. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation, integrating various platforms and leveraging emerging technologies.What you'll be doing day-to-dayLead the design and development of digital solutions, ensuring that they meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the telecom and energy business.Architect solutions across Salesforce (Sales, Service, and Marketing Cloud), AWS, and digital platforms to support business processes, customer management, and operational efficiency.Ensure architecture solutions are aligned with best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance (e.g., data security, telecom/energy regulations).Platform Integration:Design integration strategies between Salesforce, AWS services, and other enterprise systems such as CRM, billing, and energy management platforms.Develop API-led connectivity and data strategies leveraging AWS and Mulesoft to create a unified digital ecosystem.Lead the adoption and optimization of cloud-native architectures using AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).Design and oversee the deployment of cloud-based infrastructure to support scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency.Digital Transformation:Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives.Analyze business processes and identify areas for automation and efficiency through digital tools and technologies.Lead initiatives for omnichannel customer engagement, including web portals, mobile apps, and self-service platforms.Governance & Best Practices:Develop architectural blueprints, frameworks, and guidelines to ensure consistent and standardized solution delivery.Provide oversight during project execution to ensure alignment with the designed architecture and technical vision.Define security and compliance requirements, ensuring solutions adhere to regulatory standards (e.g., data privacy, telecom regulations).Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with product managers, developers, business analysts, and other teams to ensure successful project delivery.Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing clear communication and documentation of architectural decisionsWhat you'll bring to this roleExperience:7+ years of experience in solution architecture, with a focus on telecom and/or energy sectors.Proven experience in architecting and deploying solutions using Salesforce (Sales, Service, Marketing Cloud) and AWS.Hands-on experience with digital platforms, cloud computing, and integration technologies (API Gateway, Mulesoft).Experience in designing scalable, resilient, and secure digital architectures.Familiarity with telecom and energy-specific systems like billing, customer management, and energy platforms is preferred.Technical Skills:Proficiency with Salesforce architecture, configuration, and integration.In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, API Gateway, RDS).Experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and integration patterns.Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance, and data privacy regulations.Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, automation, and cloud infrastructure management.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Leadership qualities with the ability to mentor and guide technical teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.What We OfferWorking at Vocus will give you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to do extraordinary work.
