Solution Architect (Data Centre Exit)

About the role – 6 month contract: The Solution Architect will assist with the withdrawal from our data centre to align with our fully cloud strategy and will develop and implement solutions aligned to the blueprints and roadmaps that will deliver a seamless transformation. Additional responsibilities include:
Coordinate and orchestrate application & information solution architecture activitiesCoordinate transition with Vendors & oversee required governanceEnsure solutions are aligned to enterprise-wide blueprints and roadmaps/future statesManage the architectural impacts of business changeRecommends solutions that improve cost effectiveness and flexibility of the portfolioProvides thought leadership on solution architecture, specifically within the application & information domain, and fosters an environment of continuous improvement within the IT business unitReview, provides analysis, position and response to technical papers as requested by the Chief Architect or Enterprise ArchitectsBe Impactful when you are applying… You will have prior experience with setting collaboration frameworks, creating a solution prototype, solution development control and leading and influencing technical teams. Additionally, you will have some of the following:
Tertiary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent years of experience in the fieldExperience solutioning within modern cloud architecture & data platforms (AWS & Azure IaaS)Infrastructure Architecture or Engineering experience (desirable)Demonstrated experience delivering successful solution architectures in large scale environments/enterprisesExcellent analytical, technical and problem solving abilitySolid presentation development and delivery skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of technical & non-technical stakeholdersThe ability to translate technical information to an easily digestible formHow to Apply: If you're ready to 'light the way' towards your next career move, click the 'Apply' button to submit a confidential application.
