The primary focus of this role is to lead the enhancement of our time tracking systems and integrate them with DSL. This Solutions architect will be responsible for analyzing business critical applications for our industrial customers, developing flow charts / ERDs and analyzing the current and future integrations between multiple applications.This individual will work closely with business partners, applications development team and IT to understand the requirements, create technical specifications and provide guidelines and recommendations to both technical and non-technical teams.This individual has an in-depth understanding of databases / n-Tier architecture, RESTful / SOAP APIs / file transfer protocols and has a solid knowledge of Microsoft development platforms such as C# / MSMQ etc.Essential FunctionsProvide technical leadership during design, development and implementation including the development of strategies to verify integration across multiple systems, mode of communication, data validation, resiliency, reliability, and scalability.Coordinate with Business Analyst, Project Manager, and other key stakeholders.Review and understand our Salesforce, Oracle back-office solution (CCS) and internal industrial applications.Lead technology work-stream through the various life-cycle stages, from business need through design, delivery, and support.Provide recommendations and best course of action in the following key areas:Integration between Salesforce / CCS / Internal / other 3rd party applications with key emphasis on ensuring single source of truth, real time or near real time data synchronization and security.Scalable architecture with built in messaging / message queuing.Develop easy to understand flow diagrams / ERDs.Identify and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies, and escalation.Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams and ensure architectural guidelines are being followed.Analyze business and system needs in terms of programming requirements and be able to provide accurate work estimates for planning purposes.Work directly with software development and infrastructure teams to set the architectural foundation for new projects which may involve writing the code framework.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkDuration: 2-6 months, depending on project requirements.Hours: Flexible, based on managing your team and meeting client expectations.Location: Hybrid role with 3 days in-office per week after the initial training period. Office located in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.Hourly Rate: $50.00-$60.00 based on experience.Required Experience and EducationHands-on experience designing and building scalable web applications, particularly building high frequency and low latency web applications with optimal memory management, performance, and scalability.Solid knowledge of SOA based design, architectural and integration patterns along with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework, Microservices.Familiarity with design-patterns, ERDs, flow diagrams, data atomicity, redundancy.10 + years' experience in designing and implementing large and high-performance internet-facing web applications in .NET, MVC, ASP.NET, WCF and C#.Databases (Microsoft SQL, Oracle) experience and solid understanding of relational database models.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Visual Studio) is a plus.EducationBachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; a master's degree preferred.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
