Osborne Richardson specialise in public sector recruitment.Our IT division is headed up by an experienced IT project manager so, when you work with us, you will be working with someone understands your requirements based on real-world experience.• To 30th June 2025 • $1,115/day incl Super • Parramatta / Hybrid working • Immediate start A large NSW State Government department is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with Public Sector experience to join The Digital Portfolio Team for a key project that involves Digital Online Forms, Digital Case Management and Digital File Management.There are other projects expected to start which will require resourcing, these involve Digital systems for case resource scheduling and workflow management.The Solution Architect role will have a focus on the Application and Solution Architecture Domain and will be responsible for identifying dependencies, developing solutions and working with the technical SME's to ensure a smooth transfer.The role will require an understanding of architecture principles but will also be required to work in detailed designs and at a low technical level.While the focus is Application and Solution Architecture strong capabilities in IDAM, hybrid cloud integration, data architecture, enterprise architecture and infrastructure are a bonus.Responsibilities • Review, interpret and respond to detailed business requirements specifications (BRS) to ensure alignment between customer expectations and current or future ICT capability.• Define and design technology solutions, within the agreed program architecture, to assist the business in meeting their business objectives.• Develop, test and implement technology solutions and report on delivery commitments to ensure solutions are implemented as expected and to agreed timeframes.• Work closely with organisational key stakeholders and developers to ensure that the needs of the business are being met by the architecture teams.• Conduct research and analysis to inform recommended IT solutions across a range of organisational business and technical systems and devices.• Support the development and maintenance of service catalogue collaborating with program architecture, digital product owners and both technical and business subject matter experts during solution development.Experience • Mandatory - Public Sector experience • At least 10 years' experience working as Solutions Architect across multiple domains • Experiene developing architecture documentation as well as detailed design documentation Thank you for your application.We regret that due to the number of applications received we will not be able to respond to all applicants.
