Identify prospect requirements, research their competitive strengths and weaknesses; reconfigure application and/or database as appropriate to best address prospect issues; ensure demonstrations are free of complications and maximize the usefulness of SAP Concur's applications Strategize with sales team members to identify strategic approach most likely to persuade prospect to buy Maintain thorough knowledge of SAP Concur's competitor's products, company direction, financial stability, etc.

Formal mentor to other Solutions Consultants as requested, including having new SC's shadow activities Regularly report on progress with each prospect via phone conferences, pipeline reports, etc.
Build and maintain thorough knowledge of all SAP Concur products, upgrades, upcoming revisions, functionality, etc.
Provide thought leadership Participate in new product launches and provide input on prospect requirements/concerns to Product Marketing teams as requested Assist at events, user conferences, etc.

Education, Experience & Training required:
Bachelor degree in a related field (eg finance/business) or minimum 5+ years related experience in job function and/or industry.
Finance skills and experience, spend processing, accounting 3+ years' experience in a field relating to SAAS financial software.
3+ years' experience as a Solution Advisor.
Demonstrated experience in making formal presentations including ability to quickly redesign presentations and databases Understand selling systems and can practice within them, eg Challenger, Sandler etc Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to pass a background check Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
Uses professional concepts and company policies to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways Proficiency in digital tools that generate distributable content – eg videos etc Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods for obtaining solutions Receives no instruction on routine work and only general instruction on new assignments Interacts with prospects at all levels to educate and persuade Interacts with other SAP Concur employees at all levels Travels up to 20% of time Critical Performance Competencies:
