Solid Plasterer

Riverina Plaster Works are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Solid Plasterer to join their team in Wagga Wagga NSW 2850.The Successful Candidate Will Need To Undertake And Possess: Determining plasterboard layout, and installing insulation and vapour barriersMeasuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard, lifting, and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battensFixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittingsCovering and filling joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smoothing them using wet brushes and sandpaperMixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render to structures using trowels, and levelling and smoothing coats to uniform thicknessPlumbing and straightening corners, angles and wall and ceiling surfaces, preparing corner beads, and securing them in positionApplying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and similar materialsSkills And Abilities:Must have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Solid Plasterer or equivalentCertificate (III) in Plastering or relevantAbility to work in a team environmentSalary range is $70,000 - $85,000 pa commensurate with experience.Fulltime Position available.Applications open on 23rd of August 2024 and close on 23rd of September 2024.If you are interested in this role, APPLY now.
