It is expected that this role will provide litigation support and representation in child protection matters across the regional south west area of Victoria, covering Ballarat, Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton and Horsham.You will work predominantly with the Regional West of Statewide CPLO's legal teams and will travel to various Children's Court locations and child protection offices in the Central Highlands and Wimmera Southwest areas.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDEProvide well-reasoned legal advice, briefings and correspondence.Collaborate with departmental colleagues to deliver client focused legal services.Appear or instruct in litigation involving the department in a wide range of courts and tribunals.Please open the position description to read more.COVID-19 VACCINATIONThe department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice , given their individual circumstances.
