We are seeking a highly skilled experienced Solicitor to join our dynamic team.
The candidate will have a strong background in building and construction law, along with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record in managing complex legal matters.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice and representation in building and construction disputes, including litigation, mediation, and negotiation.
Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring timely and effective resolution of matters.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing high-quality service.
Represent clients in negotiations and hearings before courts, tribunals, and other dispute resolution forums.
Prepare and deliver persuasive oral arguments and presentations in various legal settings.
Conduct depositions and witness examinations, and manage discovery processes.
Advise clients on risk management and compliance matters related to building and construction projects.
Assist in the preparation of legal and industry publications, articles, or presentations to enhance the firm's reputation and expertise.
Engage in strategic planning with the firm's leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in services offered.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
Stay current on developments in building and construction law and relevant regulations.
Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the firm's marketing efforts.
Qualifications : Can start immediately Admission to practice law in Queensland.
6 to 8 years of legal experience in broad litigation and dispute resolution in Queensland, preferably in building and construction law.
Proven ability to manage complex legal matters and deliver favorable outcomes.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and drafting skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
