Rep-Revive Lawyers was established in April 2018. On a daily basis, we bring the fight for justice, truth, and fairness through legal representation to (1) those charged with criminal or traffic offences (2) those seeking rightful remedies to being unfairly dismissed or adversely affected by either their Employers, Employees or Independent Contractors AND (3) to our Entertainment law clientele. Since our inception, about 85% of our clients require assistance in the Local Criminal Court. Currently, we are looking to fill the role of a Junior Criminal, Employment & Entertainment Law Solicitor. Qualifications & experience Admission as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW;A willingness/want to practice in the areas of Criminal, Employment & Entertainment Law;The ability to work autonomously;The ability to follow the firm's directions, procedures, and protocols;Experience in Court, Commissions, and tribunals;Experience in Criminal, Employment & Entertainment Law;Tasks & responsibilities Appear as an advocate in Criminal Law matters;Appear as an advocate in Employment Law matters;Competence in Entertainment law matters (or ability to obtain experience herein);Competence at drafting submissions to present before the Court, Commission, or Tribunal;Undertake negotiations/representations & have excellent letter writing capability;Following up, answering, and responding to new client enquiries;Undertaking client conferences;Liaise with other legal professionals including prosecutors, co-accused, employers, employees, other solicitors, and counsel;Have the desire and ability to assist the principal in day-to-day tasks and preparation of files as required;Work diligently with loyalty & skill.Location Famous for its music, comedy, art, quirkiness & bohemian spirit, Newtown (close to the train station) is where you'll find our office.
