The Harvey Norman Commercial Team are currently seeking a motivated Full Time Solar Project/Procurement Coordinator to keep up with the increased demand of our Solar business.
We are looking for a driven and ambitious solar professional who wants to work in a truly collaborative environment which will challenge you and assist you to achieve success and job satisfaction.
Based at our Taren Point Office, you will represent Harvey Norman with strong customer service and communication skills.
You will be part of the solar delivery team, overseeing the project, liaising with our customers & installers to coordinate high quality solar installations.As a Solar Coordinator you will need to be capable of forecasting product requirements and negotiating competitive pricing with our suppliers.
The successful applicant should be able to evaluate current trends and negotiate the best price for products.ResponsibilitiesConfirming details on orders are correct with the customerLiaise with site supervisors and confirm delivery datesOrganize installers and arrange delivery datesArrange materials to be delivered to site on timeEnter jobs into SimproArrange all pre installation approvals including grid applicationsHelp customers in placing Service CallsMaintain products, pricing and solar packages in SimproSet up and maintain new product codes & pricing in GPStrategies for clearance productsNegotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricingLiaise with your team to ensure best project pricing & product availabilityProvide internal support with pricing and product knowledge Forecast supply requirements with our suppliersExplore warehousing options and feasibilityStock take preparationProvide a weekly update on product changes and availabilityEngage manufacturers for product trainingsFollow company policy and procedure re; paperwork/customer files/uniformsAttend weekly team meetingsPunctuality re: commencement of workBe involved with supplier training & conferencesRequirements Min, 2 year experience in a similar roleThe ability to work in a Team environmentAdvanced Communication skills – both written and verbalInitiative, an organized working styleCommon sense and an eye for detail.Solar experience preferred but not mandatoryAbility to resolve issues - Thrives in challenging tasksHandle multiple duties simultaneously and exhibit initiativeIntermediate computer skillsSelf drivenIf you are keen, motivated and willing to contribute to a successful team, then we look forward to hearing from you.
