Due to our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Solar Farm Estimator to join our team at our head office, located just south of Adelaide's CBD.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed cost estimates for large-scale solar farm projects, including hybrid solar and battery storage solutions. Review tender documents, contracts, and specifications to develop accurate and competitive bids. Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure estimates reflect project needs and align with client expectations. Ensure compliance with HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) standards in all tender submissions and project estimates. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services. Conduct site visits when necessary to assess project requirements and gather essential data. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, technologies, and pricing trends in the renewable energy sector. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as an Estimator in the renewable energy or electrical industry, with a focus on solar farm or battery storage projects. Familiarity with electrical infrastructure and renewable energy systems. Strong understanding of tender requirements and bid preparation for large-scale projects. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates. Ability to comply with and uphold high HSEQ standards. Strong communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills. Knowledge of industry-specific software tools for estimating and cost management.
