Sentek Pty Ltd is an international market leader in the provision of soil moisture, salinity, and temperature sensors, data transmission, and a cloud-based irrigation management software.Founded in 1991, Sentek has been involved in soil moisture advancements and research to better assist the farming community of both Australia and the rest of the world. The team at Sentek has extensive experience in soil moisture research, supported by a list of published papers. Sentek is principally a manufacturer of soil moisture technology and has built a global distributor network that commenced in Australia and has expanded worldwide. The new role aims at supporting the Sentek business.You will be involved in all aspects of research and development relating to soil science and plant interactions. We have a number of exciting new projects as part of our ongoing commitment to soil/plant/water understanding.The role will include conducting field-based research, including installation, testing, laboratory work, collection and collation of data, literature reviews, and assisting our senior research scientist to advance our project outcomes. You will also be involved in developing training material for our Learning Platform and assisting the Agronomy team as required.
