Long-term engagement opportunityCompetitive daily rateMust be an Australian CitizenAbout the CompanyOur client is a federal government agency responsible for one of the nation's largest, most complex and scrutinised peacetime logistical events.About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Software Tester to work within the Enterprise Digital Delivery Branch of the Chief Information Officer Division.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the delivery of electoral events and day-to-day operations through an improved maturity of our client's systems.Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Engaging with development teams to understand the scope of product releases and develop testing requirements based on business objectives, functional requirements, and service level requirements.Develop test plans, test scenarios, and/or test scripts.Well-developed analytical and testing skills, including the ability to write detailed test cases, review and execute complex manual and automated test cases.Undertake testing activities including functional, integration, and regression testing for each release cycle.Report and track the resolution of defects/issues as they are found in testing.Develop test reports as required.Managing testing deadlines.Experience with Azure DevOps test management highly desirable.Work independently, and/or within a small team, with the ability to be proactive, flexible, and agile, managing changing goals and scope as required for rapid application development in an agile software development and testing environment.Skills and Experience RequiredExperience in test processes, including preparation, execution, and reporting.Proficiency using tools such as Microsoft Test Manager and Azure DevOps.Communication skills to be part of a positive team culture.Ability to engage and collaborate internally with other key IT areas, project teams, business areas, and external service providers.Ability to work independently and be a self-motivated individual.Strong conceptual, analytical, and interpretive skills with a high level of attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.Proven experience of working in an Agile team.How to ApplyIf you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity and join the team, please apply here or alternatively, you can email Lachlan from our Sydney office at ****** quoting Job Reference 543498 to register your interest.
