The Opportunity As the software test engineer, you will act as the subject matter expert in software development, taking part in requirements gathering with clients and stakeholders, ensuring product design meets capability needs.
Our Software test engineers focus on designing, reviewing, and executing formal test documents, plans, and T&E activities. You will bring your background in software development and testing to develop formal documentation, support the design of test plans, execute and implement testing events, produce test artifacts, and provide test support to software development and integration engineering teams.
What you need to succeed: Australian Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and retain an NV1/NV2 clearanceMin 3 years post-graduate experience in full stack/back end software developmentExperience in:Writing software test cases.Defect identification and reporting.Tertiary qualifications in Software Development, engineering, computer science or similarMin 3 years' experience in development using Java, Python, or C++ is essentialExperience in test automation tools and frameworks, such as RobotFwk.Experience in tools such as Doors and Test Management tools, such as Zephyr or ALM is desirableExperience in any of the following tools/technologies/standards is desirable:Dockers, Jenkins, DDS, Git, Clear case.Linux.Test plans and test cycles.A working knowledge of a test certification standard such as ISTQB.Positions are based in Adelaide; candidates with out-of-state applications will need to be willing to relocate, as FIFO options are not available for these roles.
