About the Opportunity: Are you an experienced technical leader with a passion for backend systems and mentoring developers? This role offers the chance to lead a talented team while contributing directly to the development, integration, and maintenance of mature .Net-based systems. You will play a crucial role in stakeholder communication, team coordination, and ensuring smooth cross-team collaboration. This is a hands-on leadership role, with approximately 60-70% involvement in coding, system design, and mentoring. There is also an on-call component with benefits, offering flexibility and additional leave. About You:We are looking for a Technical Team Lead with advanced skills in .Net technologies, Azure, and relational databases. You will have experience leading or mentoring development teams and working closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.You should have:Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, IT, or Software Engineering.Advanced knowledge of C# or similar languages, with Azure experience.Expertise in relational databases (SQL Server, Postgres, or MySQL).Strong understanding of software architecture and its practical application.Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders and other teams.Availability to participate in after-hours on-call shifts.Previous experience in a development leadership role (desirable).Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, coding, and testing of backend solutions using .Net and SQL.Mentor and guide less experienced developers, including graduates and junior staff.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical and business requirements.Coordinate team meetings, including sprints, retrospectives, and stand-ups.Work with users to evaluate IT application and equipment needs.Ensure systems meet budget, timeline, and security standards.Integrate internal systems with third-party solutions while coordinating with other teams.The Benefits:Up to $160K + SuperOn-call allowance of $15K plus an extra week of leave per year, accrued while on the roster.Flexible working arrangements: up to 2 days of remote work per week (or more under special circumstances).How to Apply:If this opportunity resonates with you, please apply.
