The opportunity:As a Software Product Specialist - DIMA3 you will be responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of our DIMA3 platform which is crucial in managing Powerlink's Advanced Energy Management System (AEMS).
This role involves collaborating with the Product Owner and key operational stakeholders to ensure the platform meets business expectations and requirements.
Specifically, you will: Provide technical support for the DIMA3 platform, focusing on AEMS processesTranslate high-level requirements into detailed software product requirementsAlign software development with AEMS and business processesWrite and execute test cases for new software featuresConduct testing for feature interoperabilityDocument and track defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve issuesDevelop training materials and facilitate information sessionsProvide advisory input on complex EMS functionalitiesMaintain system security configuration and perform cyber maintenanceThe people you'll join:Powerlink is launching our new Advanced Energy Management System, laying the foundation for us to become the renewable grid of the future.
This critical role, reporting directly to our AEMS Team Leader, is part of our Energy & Digital Management team.
It requires a high degree of originality, ingenuity, judgment, and expertise.
We are seeking passionate professionals to help us deliver cutting-edge technologies that streamline processes, enhance customer experience, and introduce innovative ways of working.
What you'll bring:Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer SystemsThe ideal candidate will have experience with Energy Management Systems & Control Systems.
You should be well-versed in software development and agile development environments, including previous experience participating in sprint cycles, ceremonies, and backlog reviews.
The ability to analyse and configure SCADA/ Energy Management Systems, including fault diagnostics and management of system configurations, is essential.
Additionally, you should possess knowledge of SCADA data communication protocols such as DNP3 and ICCP, and be adept at integrating IP-based and serial communication methods.
Experience in writing, executing, and refining test cases for product features and sprint releases is required.
You must also have a proven ability to troubleshoot complex system interoperability issues across platforms.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are crucial for engaging with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
