We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect for Data to design and implement data architecture solutions that meet our business requirements.Your role and responsibilitiesA Solution Architect with expertise in Data Platforms specializes in designing end-to-end Big Data Solutions across various platforms, with extensive experience in managing large data repositories (terabyte scale or larger).Required educationBachelor's DegreePreferred educationBachelor's DegreeRequired technical and professional expertiseDesign and implement data architecture solutions that meet business requirements.Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes.Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and develop data strategies.Lead data architecture teams and mentor junior architects.Preferred technical and professional experienceHave a deep understanding of industry standards, best practices, and the HADOOP Framework, Ecosystem, MapReduce, and Data on Containers (data in OpenShift).Create data solutions tailored to clients, leveraging Cloud and traditional data platform offerings, and oversee the architecture for data platform & cognitive components, including unstructured data technologies, annotation, and related data and analytics.Experienced with Cloud native platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google, IBM Cloud, or Cloud Native data platforms like Snowflake.ABOUT BUSINESS UNITIBM Consulting is IBM's consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
