What you'll experience with us You'll learn and grow your skills alongside a team of experts, changing the game across the AV industry and beyond. As an Engineering Intern, you'll be at the forefront of innovation and gain hands-on industry experience in web development. You'll be part of our Digital Services team and contribute to backend development tasks, including building and modernising services & APIs using Node.js.
This is a paid internship and we work with you to balance your studies, asking for a minimum commitment of 3 days per week over 3 months.
What you'll be working onGrow your coding skills by supporting the design, development and delivery of backend services using Node.jsAssist in the development of Restful APIs and microservicesCollaborate with the development teams to transfer existing frameworks into new technologyDrive innovation by participating in code reviews and contribute to improving best practicesPerform testing and quality assurance on code changes, as well as hands-on industry experience in code documentationWho we're looking forCurrently studying or completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science; equivalent self-study or previous related commercial experienceUnderstanding or interest in JavaScript, Node.js, and web development concepts (bonus points for any university project work!)Understanding of RESTful APIs and how they workTeam player with strong communication skills written & verbalCuriosity and willingness to learnPassion for problem solving and strong attention to detail Sound like a match?
