This is an unpaid-to-paid opportunity. Relocation and lodging expenses will not be provided. All interns are subject to a 3-week probationary period.What you'll do:Directly support engineering staff working on cutting-edge projects and gain hands-on experience in the development and implementation of software systemsParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycleTroubleshoot, debug software issues and propose solutions to ensure the quality and functionality of the final productProactively identify and address any potential risks or challenges in the software development processOther duties as assignedWhat you need:Actively pursuing or recently awarded a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.Ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearanceSoftware development experience in Python and/or C/C++Ability to learnAbility to work independently, meet deadlines, and track processes to completionA problem-solving constitution, with a curious mind for discovery, coupled with self-discipline and an intrinsic drive for continuous self-improvementU.S. CitizenshipNice to have:Master's degree in Computer Science or relevant courseworkExperience in supporting modeling, simulation, and analysis of space and air domain related problemsAI/ML experienceActive Secret clearance
