Software Engineer Manager - Aerospace & Defence

Are you ready to guide and lead a dynamic software development team in Wiltshire? You'll have the opportunity to manage software resources, make key architectural decisions, and ensure project success at our client site in Corsham.
Responsibilities: Drive architectural decisions through thoughtful trade-off analysis.
Efficiently manage software development resources, overseeing a team of developers and testers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Actively participate in code and specification reviews.
Provide mentorship and support for the team's growth.
Skills/Must have: Comprehensive experience in the software engineering lifecycle.
Expertise in software UI design tools.
Proficient in C, C++, C#, Java, Python.
Familiarity with configuration control and defect management tools.
Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL databases.
Certified practitioner scrum master.
Hands-on experience with bug/workload tracking systems.
Competence in Solution/Software Architecture and UML.
Nice to Haves: Familiarity with MS Visual Studio 2015 or later.
Exposure to MS SQL Server 2012 or later.
Familiarity with Enterprise Architect 9 or later.
Experience with Ranorex 7.1 or later.
Familiarity with Git.

Salary/Day Rate: £650 - £750 per day.
Outside IR35.
Location: Onsite in Corsham, 5 days a week, or condensed hours for a 4-day work week.
