About the roleThis position primarily consists of undertaking the ownership of Rokon's M-Files platform and the integrations to and from other systems. You will be the platform owner and accountable to design, develop and implement solutions that will continue to enhance the digital transformation of Rokon's IT systems, data and technology functions. You will:
Improve and maintain M-Files Application and Databases via performance tuning and monitoring ensuring efficient and effective performance.Knowledge of database design, data backup, recovery whilst maintaining required security best practises and Data integrity.Design, Plan & Develop the M-Files Platform, leveraging automation and integrations between Rokons' various systems for the efficient undertaking of business processes in a timely fashion.Ensure All systems and Data is secured using industry best practises.Manage internally developed solutions for the business, ensuring version control, security and support are up to date.Provide operational Day to Day support for M-Files and associated platforms where required.Work closely with the business to understand and provide technical solutions to improve business processes.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to Influence, drive and deliver new and improved business processes and systems aligned to Rokon's requirements and industry best practises.Act as the technical adviser on issues relating to Software Engineering trends and Data Storage and keep abreast of latest developments and technologies in your area of expertise.About youIdeally, you will possess:
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competencySubstantial relevant experience in developing, implementing, integrating, repairing and maintaining software and Database application systems.Experience working in M-Files and VBScriptHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsHighly developed organisational skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.Demonstrated experience in designing enterprise-grade solutions.ITIL Certification or demonstrated experience in ITIL processes.Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting strategic vision into an operational modelsOn OfferBesides a generous Salary Package, Rokon provides a family oriented and supportive workplace environment with defined training and career development opportunities.
