Exciting opportunity to join a leading Financial Services organisation to build a next generation platform for their Global Financial Markets division

About the role:

A unique opportunity to join in an engaging role within a high energy function of a leading financial institution. This role requires an individual who is technically strong and very hands-on combined with a solution engineer's understanding of a situation and how to propose a workable resolution to key business challenges. You will be supporting the organisation to utilise the next generation platform for the financial markets teams in an an end-to-end role where you will be working across all layers of the environment from infrastructure to data to middle-ware and front-end.

Ideally you will have:

Commercial experience as a full-stack software engineer with expertise in modern development practices using Python & Javascript (React/Typescript)

Sound knowledge of NoSql databases

Sound knowledge of modern deployment practices including implementing CI/CD and using Docker/Containers

Good understanding of application optimisation & dealing with concurrency is a nice to have

Experience with financial markets is desirable but not essential
