Key accountabilities: Develop working software across the full stack (end to end) according to requirements and development standardsContribute to feature and solution design with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAssist the support and customer success team with diagnosing issues with the software and providing guidance or helping with appropriate fixesProvide mentoring and guidance for junior developers in any areas of expertiseContinually improve domain and technical knowledge through professional developmentActively participate in agile ceremoniesComplete assigned development tasksRaise blockers and issues associated with assigned tasksMonitor support channels for customer issues and queriesIncrease quality of the codebaseReview and provide constructive feedback of code from other developersDeliver code with supporting technical documentation where requiredSkills required: Good understanding of a web development language such as Ruby and TypescriptGood understanding of MVC development frameworks, such as RailsGood understanding of a frontend web framework such as ReactAn understanding of software version control, specifically with gitKnowledge of programming principles such as OOP and unit testingProficiency with any RDBMS (we use Postgres)Understanding of agile methodologiesExperience working with a web development framework or SaaS applicationExperience working in a team using tools such as GitHub and JIRAReadyTech is committed to seeing things through each other's eyes.
