They are looking for someone with strong PL/SQL skills who also has frontend development and integration experience.
Team Five software engineers.A collaborative and team-oriented culture—ideally suited to someone who enjoys teamwork.One of the software engineers is on parental leave, so they need someone to fill the role.Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing the frontend UI and working on integrations with other systems.Role Details Fixed-term contract (FTC) parental leave backfill role until 11 November 2025.Most important skills:PL/SQL skills (3–4 years' experience or more)—this is the key requirement.Frontend development experience with JavaScript (vanilla) (3–4 years' experience).Nice to have:Experience with Azure Functions for application support and integrations (not required but helpful).API integration experience.The ideal candidate would align with a Level 7 role, so 3–4 years' experience is preferred.Requirements Full working rights in Australia.Reporting to Reana Premchandra (Senior BSA), depending on the candidate's level.Work Arrangement Hybrid model: 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.Mandatory in-office days are Monday and Wednesday, with flexibility on the third day.Salary $100,525–$122,000 + 17% superannuation.Pro-rata calculations available, with 12% of the pro-rata amount considered.Responsibilities Maintenance and enhancement of the student information management system, which handles:Admissions, enrolments, assessment results, graduation, and invoicing.Working closely with the Senior BSA to implement system improvements.Career Growth Potential opportunities within the organisation, as they have numerous ongoing projects.Comprehensive mentoring and code review processes to support professional development.Interview Process Typically, one interview round.A written test (1-hour duration) is required after the interview.Interviews are planned for the end of next week, subject to access being granted to lodge applications through Maddy Chaplain.Work Hours 37.5 hours per week.Unique Selling Points (USP) A supportive and collaborative team environment.Opportunities to learn, grow, and be mentored throughout the role.
