Software Engineer working for a Mining Software organisationFIFO role on a 8/6 rosterVery competitive pay due to FIFO travelEven if not wanting FIFO, please consider applying as other roles might be suitableRole Responsibilities Provide the Autonomous Systems team with on-site support during product developmentAssist with changes to the code base.Test, analyse and debug autonomous vehicle software at a customer site.Regular reporting and discussions with other off-site development teams to debug issues and provide product improvement suggestionsAnalyse, coordinate, and perform failure analysis activities to identify root cause of customer reported issuesAct independently with minimal supervision to conduct data collection and complete required vehicle performance testsQualifications Must-Have: Experience with C++Experience with LinuxExperience with IP NetworkingKey Success Factors: Ability to comply with requirements to travel to mine sitesProfessional, and comfortable with customer facing roleAdaptable to fast changing requirementsStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work a FIFO roster on a customer siteNice-to-Have: DDS or equivalent pub/sub communicationsMATLAB/SimulinkEnough Microsoft Excel knowledge to analyse / plot field dataAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples are encouraged to apply.
