Software Engineer

Hunter Property Protection Pty Ltd is a leading provider of IT services, seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer who will play a critical role in enhancing our technology infrastructure, improving operational efficiency, and driving business growth.
As a Software Engineer at Hunter Property Protection, you will:
Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications, APIs, and integrations. Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, hardware, and third-party services. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing system performance and reliability. Contribute to the development of our technology roadmap, staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies. Implement data synchronization and replication mechanisms. Design and develop data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. Develop and maintain data warehouses using ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend). Analyze and optimize database performance. Implement secure coding practices and vulnerability management. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the codebase. The applicant must have the following requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer. Proficiency in at least two programming languages (C#, Java, Python, JavaScript). Experience with database management systems (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker). Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and secure coding practices. Familiarity with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD). Familiarity with IoT development. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
