Now part of the CloudOps division of NetApp, we provide open-source applications as-a-service, delivering reliability at scale. We manage cutting edge open-source technologies (Cassandra, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenSearch and Cadence) for our customers around the world. We make it easy for our customers to run powerful open-source applications at the highest levels of scale. We have developed a platform that takes care of the whole lifecycle: provisioning infrastructure, installing applications and, most importantly, keeping the applications running reliably in production. Our customers run 24x7 and our business does too, with our operations team spread across the globe to supply fast, expert support and operational responses.Keen to find out more? You will gain the opportunity to work on some truly cutting-edge technologies, expanding your knowledge and learning! To keep you motivated and excited about the work you are completing, our software engineers are rotated between development teams, granting you exposure to a variety of technologies, experiences and perspectives.Job RequirementsStrong experience in a language like Java, C#, C++, or PythonCommercial working experienceEagerness to learn and grow your abilities as a Software EngineerWorking knowledge of SQLTertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science (or other related discipline) are beneficialHumble and collaborative nature, with the ability to work harmoniously within multiple teams.ResponsibilitiesDelivering software development specifications with a thorough analysis and understanding of the clients' needs and requirements.Building a scalable grid system to handle a variety of framework in the cloud computing platform.Utilizing automated testing tools to perform the testing and maintenance of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure.Collecting and researching customer experience with cloud computing applications.Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)0-2 years of relevant experience in engineeringWhat's in for youInstaclustr, as part of NetApp, prides itself on being a workplace of choice for all of its employees.
