What you'll be doing Work and collaborate with teams across multiple time zones (AEST, IST, PST) Help build software that spans from the browser all the way down to analytics data pipelines Work within an agile team to help build services from requirements to release and maintenance Attending planning meetings to produce high-level scenarios and estimates Attending and contributing to regular status meetings Learn from other highly experienced Engineers What we want from you Need to have Relevant tertiary degree (e.g. COMP SCI, Software Engineering) or related commercial experience (e.g. using modern programming languages - Node.js/JavaScript, Golang, etc.) Experience with cloud computing (AWS services) Experience designing & integrating REST API. Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Working knowledge of DOM API & manipulation Working knowledge of web/HTTP concepts and methodologies - DNS, TLS, browser caching, CDNs (e.g. Cloudflare/CloudFront) Working knowledge of concurrent/asynchronous programming techniques Working knowledge of distributed systems/computing (especially microservices) A desire to focus on open source, linux-based software/services and tooling Nice to have Understanding of UX Principles Why Arkose Labs?
