About the role We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Engineer for our business located in Canberra.
This is your opportunity to become a vital member of the team in a collaborative and supportive manner.
It is a full-time role.
To be considered for this role, you will need a minimum of 5 years' proven experience working in a similar position.
Responsibilities Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements Developing and maintaining software using programming languages to support daily workflows, ensuring system stability and security Engaging in rigorous code reviews to maintain high-quality code and integrate best practices Overseeing the complete development life cycle of systems from requirement gathering, software designing to deployment, and testing Providing post-deployment support such as debugging issues, software improvement upgrades and enhancing features based on user feedback Constructing comprehensive technical documentation, including software architecture diagrams, module functionalities, and system usage guidelines Staying up-to-date with the latest developments, applying these advancements to existing and new projects to improve efficiency and user experience Desirable skills: Proficiency in programming languages including, but not limited to C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues and debugging a large codebase Excellent time management and proven track record working to deadlines Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new technology and go deep Ability to work collaboratively across teams and excellent problem-solving skills
