We are looking for a Full Time Software Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities: Design, code, test, and maintain software applications and systems.Develop efficient algorithms, data structures, and coding practices to create high-quality software.Write, debug, and optimize code in various programming languages (such as Java, Python, C++, etc.)
to implement software solutions.Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to design software architecture, components, and modules that meet business requirements and are scalable and maintainable.Analyse complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions.Troubleshoot and debug software defects to ensure smooth functionality.Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of the software.Create technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and API documentation, to facilitate communication and knowledge sharing.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance, to deliver software projects on time and according to requirements.Participate in Agile or Scrum development methodologies, attend daily stand-up meetings, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospective sessions.Understand user and business needs to create new software features or improve the efficiency of existing software systems.Design, develop and create software applications and solutions related to enterprise architecture, business process analysis, and business strategy. Technical Skills:Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, Ruby, etc., depending on the project's requirements.Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms for efficient problem-solving.Experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and practices (version control, code reviews, testing, etc.
)Familiarity with front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (server-side scripting, databases) technologies for web application development.Knowledge of mobile app development for platforms like Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C)Proficiency in working with databases, including designing schemas, writing SQL queries, and understanding database optimization.Familiarity with relevant software development frameworks and libraries for the chosen programming language (e.g., React, Angular, Spring, Django, etc.
)Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating third-party APIs.At least 2 years of working experience.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $100,000 p.a plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
