Two-Wheeler and Powersports Department is responsible for developing the future of mobility, including two-wheelers and powersports vehicles. We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Software Engineer within the Two-Wheeler and Powersports department. This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time role and is based at our headquarters in Clayton, Melbourne and will involve occasional international and domestic travel.
Position responsibilities will include: Conducting system, software, and application programs according to customer and business needs Eliciting system and software requirements to create feasible designs Developing and implementing software solutions on innovative end-to-end software systems Identifying and correcting errors in system behavior through methodical problem-solving Communicating with and supporting internal and external customers for project delivery Maintaining project documentation in accordance with internal processes We are looking for a conscientious professional who has exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks, be a team player and have excellent organisational and communications skills.
To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria: An Engineering Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Electrical or equivalent qualification AUTOSAR Classic BSW/SWC development experience is a must. Knowledge of automotive networks & protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, ISO-TP) advantageous Hands on experience with development of embedded systems Experience with CI/CD tools Experience working with complex Multi-core Systems. Knowledge of statistical methods and number theory Build and maintain relationships with international stakeholders. Experience with the following programming languages: C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink or ROS would be advantageous.
