Two-Wheeler and Powersports Department is responsible for developing the future of mobility, including two-wheelers and powersports vehicles.
Bosch offers all-in-one connectivity solutions, rider assistance, powertrain, and personalized mobility from a single source to ensure utmost driving excitement, safety, and efficiency.
We are currently offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Software Engineer within the Two-Wheeler and Powersports department.
This is a 2-year maximum-term, full-time role and is based at our headquarters in Clayton, Melbourne and will involve occasional international and domestic travel.
Position responsibilities will include: Conducting system, software, and application programs according to customer and business needs Eliciting system and software requirements to create feasible designs Developing and implementing software solutions on innovative end-to-end software systems Identifying and correcting errors in system behavior through methodical problem-solving Communicating with and supporting internal and external customers for project delivery Maintaining project documentation in accordance with internal processes We are looking for a conscientious professional who has exceptional attention to detail, the ability to prioritise tasks, be a team player and have excellent organisational and communications skills.
To be considered for this position you are required to meet the following criteria: An Engineering Degree in Software, Mechatronics, Electrical or equivalent qualification AUTOSAR Classic BSW/SWC development experience is a must.
Knowledge of automotive networks & protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, UDS, ISO-TP) advantageous Hands-on experience with the development of embedded systems Experience with CI/CD tools Experience working with complex Multi-core Systems.
Knowledge of statistical methods and number theory Build and maintain relationships with international stakeholders.
Experience with the following programming languages: C++, Python, Matlab/Simulink or ROS would be advantageous.
Knowledge of IOT protocols (MQTT, TLS, HTTP) Familiarity with Functional Safety Freedom-From-Interference mechanisms Familiarity with security concepts for embedded systems Familiarity with Linux OS &/or development Job Highlights Exploring ways to bring more user value to existing product platforms Bringing product innovations to life and incubating them towards industrialization Creating prototypes for new functions or systems Working with powersports customers to define future vehicle architectures Working on innovative technologies that improve rider safety and enjoyment Working at a globally leading innovation and technology company with potential for international travel and assignments We recognise that our employees are our greatest asset.
