Your New Role
As a Software Developer at Aware, you will be responsible for supporting and developing our mobile applications. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative technology solutions that enhance our members' experience.
In this role, you will:
Develop and manage native Android mobile apps using KotlinDevelop and manage native iOS mobile apps using Swift/SwiftUIPerform unit testing, including planning, documentation, and executionIntegrate different backend systems like APIs and databasesFollow program specifications, project standards, and toolsAdhere to Agile methodologies and ways of workingDocument user/business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documentsProvide post-implementation support and keep up to date with release management and support releases How do you exceed our expectations?
As our ideal candidate, you will bring strong experience and a passion for innovation to the team. You'd have expertise in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices that will help streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Additionally, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in software engineering discipline5-8 years of experience in building native mobile appsBackground in software development with exposure to modern software development practicesSolid understanding of Object-Oriented techniques, design patterns, and frameworksStrong technical expertise in app development on Swift and/or Objective-CExperience working in a DevOps culture and practice, including continuous integration and deploymentUnderstanding of working in an Agile environment such as Scrum Employee Experience
