About the RoleWe are expanding our team and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer to innovate, create and operate our payment systems. This role is part of our Payment Development team to develop payment solutions for our products and services. The ideal person is someone who understands specific traits of payment engineering, unique integration protocols and the end-to-end flows together with all involved parties and their technical and financial relationships. We want to build a payment processing system that is correct, reliable and stable - important elements for a great customer experience.

Key responsibilities include: Participates in creating architectural guidelines with technical leadership and investigates industry best practices and innovations when developing product.Designs, develops, and modifies complex quality software applications by applying fundamental computer science techniques.Leads creative problem solving and participates in product design.Works independently with little direction.Actively participates in code validation and code reviews.Actively participates in process improvement activities and monitors process adherence.Identifies and creates complex shareable solutions with cross functional teams improving effectiveness, quality, and efficiency.Escalates concerns, anticipates roadblocks, and creates possible solutions.Assists in preparing project estimates and provides feedback on less experienced team members.
