About the role
We are seeking an experienced Software Developer
to assist our large government client in the Digital Business Division in Digital Business Division in designing, building and implementing sustainable digital and data products and services for the departments trade and biosecurity groups and supports multiple cross-border mission critical systems. You will also be responsible for the agencys enterprise-wide digital and data strategies and long-range investment plans. The Biosecurity Digital Reform Branch provides retail digital and data services for business areas across the Biosecurity and Compliance Group. The branch operates in an agile and continually evolving digital and data environment, which has unique challenges and opportunities. The branch is highly connected and integrated with biosecurity and compliance business teams. A minimum Baseline Security Clearance is an essential requirement to this role.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Design, build and test applications across the full Microsoft stack, using technologies including: Azure ASP.NET, PowerApps, Comos, AppService, Function Apps, AppInsights, Blog Storage. SQL Building, publish and maintain iOS mobile applications. Work with Technical Lead and Subject Matter Experts to translate user stories into technical designs for implementation and deployment. Plan, document, and manage deliverables (tasks and stories in DevOps) assigned. Monitor and support production issues and incidents.
Requirements: 5+ Years development experience in Azure ASP.NET, Comos, AppService, Function Apps, AppInsights, Blog Storage (Mid to Senior level position) Experience with Dynamics 365, custom portals, and Azure DevOps Demonstrated skills in building, publishing, and maintaining iOS mobile applications. Strong experience in development using .Net Core, Angular JS, SQL Experience using Visual Studio 2017+ Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL Server 2008 - 2019 Experience in technical design and documentation. Experience in Azure, Git, DevOps pipeline deployment. Experience using agile methodologies (i.e. SAFe) Tertiary qualifications in software design and development UX Design background with experience with Accessibility Experience with modernization and conversion of older .net Applications to Cloud Native Services Message based System Architecture SAFe Agile Minimum Baseline Security Clearance
