We are currently looking for NV1 cleared Software Asset Officer to manage the delivery of Software Products, Licensing, Support and Maintenance within a Defence Cyber Operations environment. The position is responsible for leading, planning, managing and monitoring Software Products from procurement to disposal.

What will I be doing day to day? Deploy and track software including the management of licensing, support, audits and stocktakesAnalysis of deployed assets and licensing usageManage the Software Asset Management (SAM) tool, including adding software assets and creating SAM reportsEnsure continuity of software licenses and analysis of software licensing dataProviding guidance to the wider project on governance, internal processes & software licensing What sort of skills do I need? Recognised qualifications in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunication, cyber security or a related disciplineExperience in Software Licensing/Asset managementEmployment of enterprise licensing agreementsExperience with asset management toolsSoftware vendor management and negotiationExperience with tools such as JIRA Insight and ObjectiveAustralian citizenship and an NV1 security clearance at a minimum, with the ability to upgrade to NV2 What's in it for me?
