What you'll be doingThis Level 3 Social Work Team Leader role offers a unique opportunity to lead and excel in acute stroke and aged care services with clinical expertise.

Essential Criteria: Qualification: Bachelor of Social Work Registration in line with Award requirements: eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW) Selection Criteria: Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).
Demonstrated ability and skills in team leadership and management including extensive experience in staff and student supervision.
Demonstrated high level clinical experience in aged care social work services with an understanding of age related illnesses, Elder abuse, Guardianship matters, NDIS matters, grief and bereavement, accommodation placements and complex familial presentations.
Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures for service improvement and skills in providing training and education.
Demonstrated well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stake holders throughout all organisational levels.
Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
Unrestricted NSW Driver's Licence and ability to participate in the After Hours Crisis On-Call Social Work Service.
