Social Worker – Sexual Assault Service

Experienced Social Workers Required Long-term vacancies with a worthy service in gorgeous Northern NSW - close to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast.
The role is based in the Sexual Assault Service.
Open to Level 2 or 3 clinicians.
You will be working with children and adults who have experienced sexual assault.
Training will be provided but you must have some relevant experience in crisis response or counselling. Working across a crisis and therapeutic setting.
The roles are weekdays, Monday – Friday + on call.
There are two vacancies: The role in Lismore is permanent, however a 6-12 month contract will be considered.The role in Tweed is a maternity leave contract until February 2026, however a 6-12 month contract will be considered.The role involves: Crisis response – attending hospital with the patient post sexual assault, coordination, patient consent, psycho education, emotional and physical response, referrals to ongoing support.Intake phone referrals.Short term counselling.Referrals to victim services.Outreach to schools.You must be a Qualified Social Worker eligible for membership with the AASW.Salary: Salary range from $88,379 - $112,114 + super depending on experience.
Accommodation subsidy of $300 per week available for the first 12 weeks if you are relocating.
